About Me & Parties-Planning.com

Hi, welcome to this page about me and parties-planning.com.

I am a partner of Rives Consultus, a Public Relations, Investor Relations and Marketing Communications company. I have been in this profession for 20 years.

I am also a working mother of two lovely children age 5 and 7.

Why start parties-planning.com? You guessed it! Besides my Public Relations work, my other passion is planning and designing all types of events; from birthday parties to weddings, charity or corporate events to gala dinners.

I love planning and organising many successful events over the years. I also enjoy organising birthday parties for my children and friends. It is my hope that you, the party hosts or event planners, can share some of the parties tips and ideas from my site. As in all events, everytime I try new ways of organising events or parties, there will always be new challenges and learning experiences. I wish that by sharing some of these experiences and tips, I can help you speed up the entire planning and execution process.

These are the fruits of my labor having sourced the internet, magazines and sharing my own personal experiences. I share whatever I have learnt and some of the best resources found on the web in this site as a one-stop easy reference so that you don't have to spend so much effort doing your own research. All these won't be possible if I continue to hold a full time job. Here's more about my work at home success.
