Create Or Choose Fun and Interesting Birthday Invitations!
Birthday invitations are essential part of the celebration. It can be fun, animated, classic, traditional, beautiful and unique cards, letters etc.
It is a formal communication piece showing your sincerity, excitement and love. A
birthday party
is a special occassion that you want to share your time with family and friends. You can create your own birthday invitations or buy personalized cards as part of your
parties planning.
The cards should set the tone for the birthday celebration. A well-planned birthday party should have a central theme that co-ordinates with the invitation cards,

Some tips to choosing or making beautiful, fun and well written invites:
1. Have a birthday
party theme
in mind, choose or create design that you would like to apply to the birthday invitations. This same design should be used for all the birthday items like birthday cake, birthday

banners, posters, clothes, flower centrepieces, birthday favors, pinata and so on.
2. Choose good quality, ready-cut cards (preferably A4 size or B5 size), these cards come in glossy, matt or textured around 200 - 250 gsm weightage. Or you can choose quality paper and envelopes of 80 to 100 gsm weightage
3. If you are purchasing cards, you can either buy traditional off the racks or buy online with a choice to personalized the cards or print photo cards. Get the supplier or designer to show you the proofs before they sent it to print.
4. Design your own invitation e-cards. There are many free online e-cards that you can send electronically or you can design, print and send via mail to invite your friends to your party. Try them, they are really many designs, ranging from beautiful, fun, humorous, whacky and even unusual!
5. Let's be original and save the environment by using recycled cards or papers. You can reuse used cards, cut it up and do montage on your new cards.
6. Who says invitations must be via cards? You can use recycled cans, cardboxes, cloths and threads (cross stitch), magazines, ice cream stickes and so on.
You can even send a mini cup cake or ginger breadman with the invitation words on it. Just let your imagination run...
7. Just like recieving a present, the beautiful or fun wrapper will excite the reciever, so does the cover design of your invitations. Spend a lot more
effort in choosing or creating the best design you can.
8. Ensure that you have clearly written, typed in all the basic info about the party for example the date, time venue, duartion and dress code etc.
