Perfect wedding shoes for that perfect
wedding gown
.
Just buy white color shoes will do? You will soon discover that they don't quite match when they are being put together.
Here are some tips for choosing the right shoes for your wedding to complement your wedding gown.
The Correct Shoes for Your Wedding Gown
Unless your bridal gown shop also custom made bridal shoes, many brides-to-be found themselves shoping or hunting for custom made shoes to match their dream wedding gown. It is all about completing THE look. The theme of the wedding and the venue will also determine the type of wedding shoes you should
wear. For Hollywood style theme wedding, you will be expected to be seen in strappy evening sandal studded with "gems" while a beach wedding theme will make way for wedding sandals or pumps or even barefoot is widely accepted.

Variety of Whites and Fabrics
Don't be fooled, there are at least 20 different shades of whites. When you are choosing your shoes, you may want to bring along your gown, or a sample of the fabric or a swatch to determine the white that best complement each other. Silk and satin are the favorites for most brides but the metallics, laces, suede materials are also gaining popularity.
Colors
It is not surprising that nowadays, brides are opting for colors. In fact there's a growing trend of brides choosing colors for their wedding gowns. So to match their colored bridal gowns, they choose to wear matching or similar colored bridal shoes.
Suit Your Style
There are the following 12 different types of wedding shoes:
1. Wedding ballet slippers
2. Wedding slides
3. Wedding Thongs
4. Wedding Ankle Tie Shoes
5. Wedding Sling Shoes
6. Wedding Flats
7. Wedding Pumps
8. Wedding T-Strap Shoes
9. Wedding Platform Shoes
10. Wedding Wedge Shoes

If you opt for details like prints, laces and embellishments make sure the finer details match and co-ordinate. Opt for simplicity, the rule of thumb: don't over do the details or it will become too "busy" for the eyes.
Comfort Should Be Number One
Wedding shoes MUST be comfortable. Image that you will have to start your day early walking down the aisle, posing for
photographs, carrying the flower bouquet, shaking many hands standing, cutting the cake, and dancing in them. The day's job will definitely weigh heavy on the pair of shoes.
Extra Pair
Every bride should buy or custom made two pairs of bridal shoes. They may or may not be the same design and style but do ensure that they are of the same height to suit your wedding gown.
As in all new shoes, the biting pain can be excruciating and you don't want to frown thorughout your wedding day with that "painful" look. Walk around the house in your new shoes at least a month before your wedding. Increase the hour by the week until the week before your wedding, have it on all day (if you can).
Add Cushion To Your Wedding Shoes
There are shoes gel and cushions especially made for strappy heels, pumps, platforms and slingbacks and so on. Make sure you get one of those at your local departmental stores. Get ready a few transparent blister gels for different parts of the feet, just in case you needed it.
May you find trhat perfect pair of shoes for your wedding!
